Hello Troy,

I thought that I show drop you a note about my satisfaction with the Tunit Model V-VP that was installed in my 2004 Toyota GXL Turbo Diesel 100 series Auto Station wagon.

This was the vehicle that was Dyno Tested at Labrador after installation.

The following are a series of consumption figures that I have achieved in the first month on the road.

Kilometres driven Fuel Used in Litres Kilometres / litre Litres / 100 km
1142.7 165.18 6.92 14.46
836.6 96.70 8.65 11.56
573.9 76.80 7.47 13.38
609.9 81.90 7.45 13.43

The first reading was with the Tunit setting at 6 (as you had set it after the Dyno) and also included the climb through the hills to Canungra and then over Cunninghams Gap to Warwick with our

Just thought I'd drop you a mail to say how things are going with the car. So far, no problems whatsoever; well, not true actually - if I continue driving it the way I have been, I'll loose my license! Power delivery is very smooth, and it definitely revs longer - in fact, it's much more like a petrol engine at the top end. comparitively, on a twisty road, I think I could keep up with my Boxster S - would be left on the straights, but through the bends... all that torque wins ! And the car is superbly balanced. Fuel consumption has dropped to 42mpg, but I've only been doing short journeys, so can't really comment upon that being the true average. Once again, thanks for your hospitality on my visit to Chorley - it was good to see what really goes on in the tuning world! Look forward to reading Victors article.
