I have had my unit installed for some months, at first I had problems with fuel consumption! higher than without the unit on. I phoned your experts and was advised to take the unit from a setting of 3 to max(9). I was also told that your operative believed that torque was the secret for performance and lower fuel consumption. I can now after extensive use of my car towing (a 24foot van) tell you he was spot on! I use the torque where it applies to my outfit, I can tow comfortably at 53mph at 1600rpm, the available torque allows for a down change if needed for hill climbing, fuel consumption 33-36 mpg over the whole journey. Be fair! at 1600rpm the engine is just ticking over. Now I can also tow the same van at 70mph, now I am using the extra power supplied by the unit, don't look for fuel savings here as I will return 25-27mpg. A word to the wise don't expect to see any use from your unit if you use Supermaket fuel, its crap, some time ago I stopped using Tesco and like fuels, and I now have a different performing car. I am very pleased with the outcome of tuning my new car. I have had the unit installed for a couple of months now and have seen a real performance increase as well as miles per gallon when driven economically. Would highly recommend Tunit.
